The house is situated in the delightful conservation village of Barr. From its central location in the village the house enjoys an attractive outlook across Stinchar Road and towards the Water of Gregg. The village is in wonderful upland surroundings on the edge of the Southern Uplands.

Mainly in lawn the garden is a great space from where a view can be enjoyed west towards the hills surrounding the village.
